DATES
April 1, 2001 for Practitioner's Reports submission.
April 30, 2001 for acceptance notification.

GOAL AND SCOPE
Practitioners' Reports provide a lightweight format for presenting minor results or late-breaking work that is not developed enough for a full paper. For example, this might include an account of a project with a discussion of the significant lessons to be drawn from the experience.
PhD candidates are particularly encouraged to submit reports describing their work. Submissions are sort in all relevant areas of XP and Lightweight Methodologies.

Accepted Practitioners' Reports will be presented as posters during interactive sessions.

Posters will be pinned up in the poster session area. During poster sessions, the authors will stand by their posters so that conference participants can find them and discuss posters they find interesting. Authors will have space for laptops if they also want to provide demonstrations.

HOW TO SUBMIT
The Practitioner's Report abstract, of no more than one page, should include a title, author names and affiliations and an optional URL for further reading or reference.

Submitted reports should follow the same format guidelines of regular papers, but are limited to one A4 page. The format guidelines, including a link to MS Word and TeX templates, are specified in the document XP2001SubmissionFormat.pdf.

This information will be included in the Conference Proceedings after the notification of acceptance, and will allow early exposure of the accepted reports. Details of poster formats and dimensions will be provided later.

Practitioner's Reports should be submitted electronically in either of the following formats:

  • Adobe Portable Document Format
  • Postscript
  • HTML
