• The course is given by the Computer Science & Technology Section at the Informatics and Mathematical Modelling Department.

• Lecturers are:
  associate professor Flemming Stassen, Building 322, Room 217, and
  associate professor Steen Pedersen, Building 322, Room 213

• The course schedule holds two weekly timeslots, namely Tuesdays 13 ⁰⁰ - 17 ⁰⁰ and Fridays 9 ⁰⁰ - 12 ⁰⁰.

  Lectures will be given in Building 302, Room 41. Practical classes as well as the course project take place in the IC Design lab situated in Building 322, Room 229.

  The Tuesday sessions fall into two major parts, a lecture part and an exercise or lab part. An approximate schedule for these is as follows:
  

  1300 - 1345	First lecture
  1400 - 1445	Second lecture
  1500 - 1555	Practical classes (A) and Problem Solving (B)
  1605 - 1700	Practical classes (B) and Problem Solving (A)

  As the number of computers in the IC Design Lab is limited, it is our intention to split the attendees of the course into two groups, A and B, who will be doing practical classes and problem solving in parallel.

  The Friday sessions will be mainly lectures. An approximate time schedule for the lectures is as follows:
  

  900 - 935	First lecture
  950 - 1025	Second lecture
  1040 - 1115	Third lecture
  1130 - 1200	Fourth lecture

• Written examination will take place on Thursday 6^th June 2002
